Although the figures for employee turnover for Wal-Mart are not readily available there is a lot of information to indicate at the least that employees are not happy and that the turnover intent is high. The international segment is seen as the engine of growth for the company as Wal-Mart continues to expand internationally. The aim of this research is to determine the reason for the high employee turnover rate at Wal-Mart. The objectives of this study are to determine: i. Whether compensation at Wal-Mart may be a factor in relation to the high rates of turnover ii. Whether employees are satisfied with the level of communication with their supervisors iii.
